Wellington

Materials: stoneware, European beech
Slipcast

When Maud worked in New Zealand (for Designtree) she had the possibility to work on her own projects at the Wellington Pottery Association (a community pottery workshop).
At Designtree she worked as designer and furniture maker. At the Wellington Pottery Association she started to work with ceramics. This is when she got the idea to combine both materials and make a wooden frame that supports a ceramic drawer.
Maud has since then been interested in the use of ceramics in furniture and combining ceramics and wood.

This drawer has been made with the help and support of Designtree, Sue Dasler, the WPA and Javier Murcia.
